The STA promotes and drives tourism-based events to benefit local businesses and help keep Strathalbyn a vital town. We love “Strath”!

What we do
The Strathalbyn Tourism Association is a non-profit volunteer organisation devoted to promoting the town as a key tourism destination.
Membership of the association is open to anyone interested in promoting Strathalbyn for tourism, community, and business purposes. Current members come from a mix of local business operators and interested individuals from the community.
General meetings are held quarterly on the third Thursday in February, May and August at 6.30pm at the Gilbert’s Motor Museum 34 – 36 High Street, or as advised. The AGM is held on the third Thursday in November. Members may raise questions or suggestions by email at any time.
The Strathalbyn Tourism Association organises the following:
- Antiques and Collectables Fair and Treasure Market on the third weekend in August
- Gilberts Motor Museum
- High Street Market on the third Sunday of each Month.
- The Strathalbyn Tourism brochure promoting the towns destinations and businesses.
Monies raised by the STA are invested back into Strathalbyn by providing funding for projects by other non-profit groups.
Funding was also provided by the STA to assist in the development of the Ken Blake monument located on High St.
